Why Chlorella Offers Super Nutrition For Kids

By: Dr. Mark Drucker

Chlorella is safe for kids

Healthy kids are well-nourished kids. To grow large, strong and smart, kids will need to have the right nutrition.

But in the modern world, this is becoming a tall order.

You have probably heard the statistics about the increasing rates of childhood obesity. According to the federal program Let"s Move! ,one-third of our kids are overweight or obese. [1]

Does this undermine their self-esteem, but also it sets our kids up for a lifetime of battling health problems like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, asthma and cancer.

We are in a peculiar position of placing our children at risk for malnutrition in a world of plenty.

Despite all of the food at our disposal, our kids are losing out on fresh vegetables, fruits, grass-fed meats and fresh fish in their diets. And with these whole foods go the vitamins, trace minerals and essential fatty acids that children"s growing bodies need.

That is why chlorella is such a helpful addition to kids" nutrition.

This green superfood can"t replace an overall approach to healthy eating. But with its dense nutrient profile of protein, vitamin C, B vitamins, beta-carotene, iron, magnesium, omega-3 fatty acids, chlorophyll and nucleic acids, chlorella adds an outstanding nutritional punch to your children"s diet.

It may offset some of the bad and complement all of the good.

Remember, your children"s bodies are working overtime. Their bodies need to build additional muscle, bone, nerves and everything in between to keep their growth plan on schedule. They"re literally building their future as they grow.

When you add good nutrition into your children"s diet, you"re giving them a special gift that will stay together for the rest of their life.

Chlorella Is Safe Nutrition For Kids
The Way to keep my kids healthy

"But is it safe?" Is most likely the first question you have about incorporating chlorella to your children or grandchildren"s diet.

Absolutely. Plenty of chlorella users give it to their children and grandchildren and report great results; chlorella"s advantages are that impressive.

Rita Free of Tampa Bay, Florida, gave chlorella to her young daughter. She reports: " The difference in Angela is enormous. After taking chlorella 10 months, she is more alert, active and growing by leaps and bounds. In the last two months, Angela has begun taking dancing lessons, joined Girl Scouts and started roller skating. She had no interest in those before."

Nutritionist David Nelson, Ph. D. began giving chlorella to his son, Brandon, when he was 1 1/2 years old. "He enjoys it!"

And if you"re worried that kids would object to the taste, David reports: "He chews those little tiny green pills like they"re candy. Then he smiles with a huge green smile and puts his hand out for more."

"He enjoys the flavor," David says. "And I love that he"s developing a taste for great nutrition!"

I started giving chlorella to my children when they were eight months old. For another way of interpreting this, consider peeping at: best probioitcs. It makes a great choice to sugar-y children"s vitamins. Being a whole food and completely natural, in my opinion, chlorella is the most effective nutritional product which I give my children on a regular basis.

In addition, I give my kids chlorella as a means to teach them good health choices. As a medical doctor who specializes in nutrition, among the most important things I can do for my kids is to get them in the habit of selecting nutritious foods and whole food supplements. That is why my children watch me take chlorella every day.

And sure enough -- it works. They want to take it as well!

How to keep children healthy

Chlorella Supports Healthy Children" Development
Right From The Start
Chlorella can help children stay healthy right from the beginning--even when they are still in the uterus.
Chlorella is not only safe for young kids like Rita Free"s, Dr. Nelson"s and my two men. Should you choose to be taught further about host defense organic mushroom extract, there are lots of online resources people should pursue. Additionally, it helps give them a secure healthier start while they"re still inside their mom"s belly.
Japanese researchers studied the effects of chlorella on the pregnancies of 70 girls. They found that the women who obtained chlorella had a statistically significant lower risk of anemia and signs of pre-eclampsia during pregnancy compared to women who did not take chlorella. [2]

But it does not end there. Chlorella may be among the greatest safety nets to make sure our littlest ones get healthy, toxin-free nourishment from their mother"s breast.

A couple of years back, women were horrified to find traces of pesticides like DDT, PCB"s, dioxin and other dangerous chemicals in their breast milk.

Disturbed by the high incidence of dioxin contamination in parts of Japan, Japanese scientists decided to examine how chlorella might help reduce the problem.

Dioxin levels were measured in the blood, fat, breast milk, cord blood and placentas of 44 pregnant women. Twenty-three of those women then took chlorella throughout their pregnancy.

When the researchers measured the dioxin levels in the breast milk of the women after delivery they found that the women taking chlorella had 30\% lower dioxin levels in their breast milk compared to women who did not. [3]

And the story gets even better ...

These exact scientists repeated this research with 35 breastfeeding women. Approximately half of the participants took chlorella. And the researchers measured their dioxin levels before and after chlorella supplementation. This time, not only did they see the identical reduction in dioxin levels in the breast milk once the girls took chlorella, they saw an increase in immunoglobulin A.[4]

Immunoglobulin An important immune system protein, is regarded as an integral component of how breastfeeding girls confer their immunity for their children. Located in all of the entranceways to our bodies, it"s one of our body"s first defenses against germs.

Nothing beats getting a good start on life from the very best food around -- breast milk. As this study demonstrates, chlorella safeguards this precious nourishment for babies.

But even if kids lose out on a wholesome start in the womb or the first few months of life, chlorella offers a significant boost for them to help them catch up ...

Chlorella Supports Healthy Growth With Strategic Nutrition
Chlorella may encourage healthy weight gain. For a number of reasons, many children don"t get off to a great start at birth. And this sets them up not just for a challenging first couple of years, but a lifetime of fighting for their life.

Gaining weight may seem less of a problem in our overweight society. However, for babies and children healthy weight gain is critical. Research demonstrates a strong connection between low birth weight and increased risk in adulthood of developing diseases like hypertension, obesity and diabetes. [4]

Nevertheless chlorella"s exceptional nutrition can reverse this early health shortage as well.

Researchers in Japan gave 22 boys and 18 girls 2 grams of chlorella for 112 days. Fifteen women and 22 boys didn"t take chlorella for comparison"s sake.

When the study ended, the boys who had taken the chlorella had grown twice as rapidly as the boys that did not take chlorella -- beating them by 1/2 inch. They had gained 2.3 pounds versus the non-chlorella boys" 1.6 lbs.

The girls experienced no substantial difference in height gain. But the women taking chlorella gained 4.2 pounds while the girls who didn"t take it gained only 2.7 lbs.

Lest you worry that chlorella will speed your children"s weight gain beyond a wholesome level, know this: Study after study documents that it helps with healthy weight gain, but nothing beyond that. In actuality, lots of chlorella users attest that it cuts down on cravings and between-meal snacking. [5]

Chlorella supports healthy snacking in another important way also ...

Chlorella May Help Keep Kids" Teeth And Gums Healthy
While nothing can substitute for regular brushing and flossing, Chlorella can help transform dreaded dental visits to minutes of pride by helping your kids keep their teeth strong and healthy.

Chlorella has more of the green plant pigment, chlorophyll, than any other plant. And chlorophyll appears to be a dental practitioner" best buddy ...

In a study at the Nebraskan orphanage, Boy"s Town, 589 boys participate in a "toothbrushing experimentation". 1 group of boys used regular toothpaste dyed green with food coloring while the other group brushed with toothpaste spiked with chlorophyll.

The team brushing with chlorophyll had 58-70\% improvement in dental health. This contrasts dramatically with the 28\% improvement experienced by the non-chlorophyll group. [6]

Chlorella Supports Balanced Immune Health
Ids are magnets for microbes. To discover additional information, consider having a gander at: visit our site. But by supporting immune health, chlorella can help your kids contend with these very small trespassers.

Clinical trials involving both sailors carrying on stormy seas and patients with hampered immune systems have discovered chlorella can make a difference when it comes to staying healthy. [7] Supplementing with chlorella appears to increase white blood cell count to keep within normal levels and enhance immune responsiveness. [8]

On the flipside, chlorella not only supports immune system responsiveness, but in addition, it appears to help keep your immune system reaction balanced.

In a study conducted in Japan, taking 3-5 grams of chlorella daily helped children enjoy clear skin in addition to healthy comfortable breathing despite previous challenges to keeping their immune response balanced. Chlorella intake also helped these kids eat food which previously had caused digestive discomfort. [9]

While the majority of the research on children using chlorella underscores its security, there is one cautionary note. One study found immunoglobulin E specific to chlorella in children with mold allergies. Immunoglobulin E is an immune protein associated with allergic reactions. [10]

While you may want to start chlorella slowly with your child if he or she has allergies to mold, overall, parent experience and research indicates that kids can take chlorella regularly with no ill effects. Only good ones.

And without good nutrition, not only do they must put up with more colds, allergies and trips to the dentist. Browse this web site bosmeric-sr to read when to think over this view. Poor nutrition also condemns them to adult health problems decades later on.

The solution to our children"s growing nutrient deficit can"t be solved with a single green superfood like chlorella. I wish it were that easy! Instead, it takes a whole commitment to changing schedules and customs. Nonetheless, chlorella is a part of the solution to helping us raise healthy children.
